Position Available: Welder/Fabricator

Basic Requirements:

  - Capable of Lifting up to 50lbs.

  - Drivers License

  - Excellent Verbal Communication Skills (Read, Write, and Speak English Fluently)

  - High School Diploma or GED

Additional Candidate Requirements:

  - Certified in all welding processes relevant to the scope of the company business

  - Considerable working knowledge of fabrication and welding procedures.

  - High Proficiency in blueprint reading and layout technique

  - Knowledgeable on gasses and what types of filler metals can be used on a project.

  - Must know how to adjust, troubleshoot, and operate welding machines.

  - Must be able to fabricate from blueprints and maintain tolerances at all times.

  - Must have a strong sense of urgency, initiative, and the ability to understand and solve fabrication problems.     

  - Must work well in a team environment

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  - Layout and fabricate precision welds and elements from blueprints and engineering concepts.

  - Intimately familiar with Welding Safety and OSHA requirements.

  - Perform related duties as assigned

  - Supports and promotes all company policy, department procedure policy, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices.

Additional Job Info:
 

  Candidates must be proficient in reading prints, fabricating, and performing MIG welding. All candidates need to take a written welding test in our office, as well as a plate welding test that consists of horizontal and vertical welding.

  Extra consideration will be made to candidates with management experience or the ability to communicate in Spanish. 

  Pay commensurate with experience.
